COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Mary Margaret Holycross, 66, of 214 Jefferson, Covington, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 6, 1974) at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been a patient 20 days and had been ill a year. Born Aug. 24, 1907, in Newman, she was the daughter of George and Mary Edith Carroll Armstrong. She was married Aug. 5, 1931, to Cecil V. Holycross, who survives. Mrs. Holycross formerly resided in Danville and graduated from Danville High in 1926. She had resided in Covington since 1931. She had been employed at the General Electric Plant in Danville for 25 years, retiring Dec. 22, 1971. Other survivors include a daughter, Leatha at home; two sons, James C. of Highland and Duane of Hammond; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Wickersham of Harvey, Mrs. Kathleen Copsy of Covington and Mrs. Marjorie Billings of Denver, Colo.; four brothers, Edgar of Hammond, George of Highland, James of Danville and William of Denver, Colo.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert H. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
